30th wedding anniversary informal picnic 2-4pm.
16TH JULY 2017 at Basildon Park, Berkshire.
We thought it would be a fun idea to have an informal and relaxed get together on the front lawn (where there are large trees for shade) with a picnic provided by us between 2pm and 4pm.
The grounds open at 10 am and close at 5 pm. On busy days the National Trust warn that the car park may be full and close by 11am and then works on a one in one out basis. You could walk in but it's a long way.
There are walks with The Great Ball Run game for children and art boxes for you to make your own art in 5 spots in the grounds. The house has bookable (on arrival) tours from 11am or general self guided visits from noon. Normal admission charges will apply.
